The tear film is assessed using white or infrared illumination. Our state of the art instrument measures the meniscus of the tear film, and analyses the lipid layer and all the tear film dynamics. This determines the quality and dynamics of your specific tear film to determine the appropriate path for treatment. Additionally, detailed imaging of your tear make up is provided to you during your consult with us.
